The Enlightenment in the 18th Century
This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the Open Enrollment curriculum.
This first course in a year-long sequence will examine the "rise" of European civilization in the 18th century, looking at political, social, and intellectual development in the Enlightenment. Later courses will look at the 19th and 20th centuries.
