Cost
595.00

This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the Open Enrollment curriculum.

Audiences watch movies and read fiction hoping to be blown away—to go on emotional journeys so powerful they linger in the mind as lived experience. Learn to captivate readers of your own through strong character identification and skillful story catharsis. In this course, an acclaimed screenplay and novel will provide students with examples of each technique while also informing class discussion. Writers should be prepared to complete in-class and homework assignments and to read, critique, and support each other's work. This class is appropriate for writers of all levels.
