What Is Your Character’s Arc?

At the heart of any compelling character throbs a dynamic arc. By analyzing successful examples (from Breaking Bad to James Baldwin's “Notes of a Native Son”), studying craft techniques, and completing in-class writing exercises, we’ll learn to create characters that change, grow, and come alive through their own unique arcs.
