Starting your Mystery Novel
This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the Open Enrollment curriculum.
Start your mystery novel in a fun, supportive environment. Using the basic elements of mystery writing, students can craft the beginnings of a compelling story and use workshop feedback to nudge them forward. The class will read weekly student writing and examine how mystery and mystery hybrid writers use plot, setting, tension, and character to tell their stories. Open to beginning and mid-range writers.
