Our multi-year seminar on the Iliad continues. This time, we turn our attention to books 17 through 20, where highlights include Hera’s seduction of Zeus and Patroclus' aristeia and death. Each class, about 100 lines of Greek will be read aloud, translated, and discussed with some recourse to the critical literature.
