An Introduction to Jung
This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the Open Enrollment curriculum.
In this course we'll read two texts by Jung, slowly and carefully. We begin with his celebrated Two Essays on Analytical Psychology, which introduces his theory of dream interpretation against that of Freud, his model of the psyche, and his reflections on neuroses and archetypes. Then we'll turn to his essay Psychological Types, which later formed the basis of the famous Myers-Briggs Type Index.
