Migration and Refugees

Cost
135.00

This course was available in the past and may be presented again as part of the curriculum.

There are many factors that cause people to uproot themselves and try to find a new home. Climate change and scarce resources can be indirect causes of migration when they lead to political strife and war, but they are also increasingly direct causes as livelihoods disappear or geographies shift. This Symposium will engage with the stories of different kinds of refugees and their experiences through poetry and music

Texts for the course will be available through Canvas.
