National Museum Publishing Seminar

The 19th National Museum Publishing Seminar

The National Museum Publishing Seminar scheduled for July 9 to 11, 2020, at the Fairmont Hotel Chicago is cancelled. The planning committee, the University of Chicago, and the Art Institute of Chicago did not come to this decision lightly. However, given the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, especially as it relates to domestic and international travel, we have decided this year’s conference cannot go forward as planned.

Although the in-person event cannot continue, we feel strongly that members of the museum publishing community could benefit from access to professional resources—and to ways of connecting with one another—now more than ever. To that end, we are developing a digital conference alternative that features a selection of our previously scheduled content. We hope to present this digital event across the initial dates of the conference. Stay tuned for further details!
