Graduate Studies

A student in the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Physics program completes assigned work.

Our credit programs are designed to support students’ educational endeavors. For individuals with a PhD in physics looking to work in the medical field, Graham offers the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Physics program. Those seeking to supplement their undergraduate education or obtain professional career advising may consider the Graduate Student-at-Large programs, which allow students to take graduate courses at the University of Chicago or Chicago Booth School of Business prior to enrolling in graduate school or professional programs.

Graham School students study for the respective master’s programs.

The University of Chicago Graham School offers six master’s degree programs: Analytics, Biomedical Informatics, Threat and Response Management, Teaching, and Liberal Arts. Each degree consists of classroom discussions, independent reading and research, and the completion of a final thesis or Capstone Project, all aimed at priming students for professional advancement, personal enrichment, and future success.
