Overview:

Marketers today live in a digital world which by its linked nature encourages and allows deeper levels of tracking and engagement than any previous mediums. With this comes a rise in demand for marketers that not only understand how the web works but who can recognize and act upon patterns from a myriad of web analytics. This seminar will introduce its audience to the 360 view of the web experience, explore related business questions and how to pair them with the right analytics objectives and tools.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the importance of building statistics experience to function in marketing analytics,
  • Develop a general understanding of how the web works: structure, spiders and analytics platforms,
  • Think from the User’s perspective to better understand customer needs and improve their sites business objectives,
  • Understand common business questions for digital marketers and how to pair them with the right analytics objectives and tools.

Presenter

Brent WilliamsBrent Williams is the Director of Education at Clique Studios an award winning digital agency in Chicago. At Clique he is responsible for building people and culture, as well as leading the Clique University program. Before joining Clique, Brent was on the founding team at Startup Institute Chicago where he led the student experience and recruitment efforts as well as built many of the marketing systems in place today. Brent holds a Master in Education Administration for the University of Arizona.
