University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Downtown Chicago hosts Classes for the University of Chicago Graham School Master of Science in Analytics and Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics

The University of Chicago Master of Science in Analytics and Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics are hosting a joint open house on Saturday, November 18 to discuss how each program engages with health analytics.

Informatics and Analytics: Global Career Opportunities in Industry and Government

There are a wide range of career opportunities in biomedical informatics and analytics within the Healthcare sector. Linda will share with us her insights on these opportunities as well as other organizations and sectors that these skill sets can be applied–both within private and public organizations worldwide that are less on the radar and provide enriching career prospects.


Meet Linda Dimitropoulos

Linda Dimitropoulos, PhD, is a social psychologist and expert in the use of health information and technology to improve care delivery. Key areas of interest include patient and provider engagement, wellness, and self-generated health information.
Ms. Dimitropoulos leads a team of policy analysts, clinicians, informaticians, and health services researchers working to transform health care delivery to improve individual, population, and public health. The team focuses on solving challenges to using interoperable health information to improve health and health care.
Ms. Dimitropoulos has more than 20 years of experience in qualitative research methods, survey research design, and evaluation and program planning. She specializes in large, complex project design and management.
Recent work has focused primarily on interoperability, health information privacy, data governance, barriers to meaningful use, and the use of health information technology and health information exchange to improve Medicaid programs.
