Lisa Malvin is the assistant director for Professional Development Certificates at the University of Chicago Graham School. In her role, she handles academic and career advising for students across all certificates, manages courses for the Editing and Project Management certificates, and helps to run the Professional Development Programs Student Advisory Board. Lisa has previously worked at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies where she focused on career services and academic advising for the undergraduate, certificate, and master’s programs. She has experience in both marketing and public relations, having worked as an account coordinator at a small marketing firm prior to entering the field of higher education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Northwestern University.
