Join Us for a Sample Discussion on Machiavelli’s The Prince "Of Those Who Through Wickedness Attain to the Principate" The Prince, Chapter 8

Join the University of Chicago Graham School's Basic Program of Liberal Education for Adults for a free sample discussion.

This May, we are offering two opportunities for you to try out a Basic Program class—one in the evening and one in the morning. Basic Program instructor Clare Pearson will lead both discussions on chapter 8 of The Prince by Machiavelli. Both discussions will take place at the Gleacher Center in downtown Chicago and are open to all.

The sample discussions will be on May 16 at 6 p.m. and May 17 at 10 a.m. A short presentation on the Basic Program will follow each discussion.

Those who register at the sample discussion will receive a discount for $100 off any section of our Basic Program Year One: Autumn course.
